The level of teaching, experience and patience from the course providers was absolutely incredible. It was intense, there was a lot to learn in a short space of time, but it was structured to ensure it was taught and consumed at an attainable pace. It was extremely rewarding.

It may sound intimidating at first that you have to teach while you’re still technically learning to, but the course prepares you very well for it. We were taught in great detail how to best teach Grammar, Reading and Vocabulary lessons. Referring back to the lessons we were taught benefited me...

Oxford International is accredited by Trinity College London to deliver the Certificate in TESOL.

Essentially, they are acronyms referring to the same area of education: TESOL stands for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, TEFL stands for Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

There is a shortage of qualified EFL teachers abroad, so completion of the course should provide you with excellent employment prospects in the current marketplace.

If you intend to do any form of paid work while studying on the course, you should not enrol on a full-time course. Full-time daily attendance is required and you will also need to do written work each evening.

While courses leading to an award of other qualifications exist, they are often very limited in recognition and are not accredited by an independent examinations board. They are therefore essentially a certificate from the school and have limited worth as an aid in acquiring teaching positions globally.

This is what makes the Trinity CertTESOL particularly valuable. Employers also value any practical experience you will have after the course. The CertTESOL will provide you with 6 hours of real teaching experience.
