We’ve had a busy start to the year with several partner visits and engagements. It’s always great to connect with our partner teams in person to discuss opportunities, explore collaborations, and align on how we can best show up to support them and their objectives. Whenever possible, it’s also a pleasure to visit their wonderful, vibrant campuses — each one uniquely different.
Greg Visits Keele University – Friday 20th February

Greg Patton, Director at OIDI, recently visited Keele University to meet with Russell Clark, Head of the Language Centre, following the launch of our new partnership.
The visit provided an opportunity to discuss how our teams can work together to support international students through high-quality English language provision and effective preparation for academic study. Conversations explored opportunities to align language support with progression routes and ensure students are well prepared as they move into degree programmes.
Set on a vibrant campus community, Keele University is well known for its strong student support and global outlook. We’re excited to continue developing this partnership and working together to support international student success.
Nathan Visits Canterbury Christ Church University – Wednesday 18th February

Last month, Nathan Bowes, Partnerships Manager at OIDI, visited Canterbury Christ Church University to meet with colleagues following the launch of our new partnership. During the visit, he met with Richard Venner from the International Office to explore shared priorities around global pathways and widening access to higher education.
Conversations focused on aligning progression routes, strengthening collaboration between teams, and ensuring a smooth transition experience for international students entering degree study. With its centrally located campus in the heart of historic Canterbury, CCCU offers a supportive and well-connected environment for students progressing through international pathways.
We look forward to developing this collaboration further over the coming year.
Tom and Kamila in China with University of Roehampton – February

Oxford International Digital Institute was pleased to take part in the Education Summit 2026 in Chengdu, hosted by University of Roehampton.
The summit brought together representatives from more than 40 public and private Chinese universities to explore how transnational education (TNE) continues to evolve. Discussions highlighted the growing importance of in-country delivery models, alongside traditional international student mobility, as institutions look for flexible ways to support students in different global contexts.
Representing Oxford International Digital Institute (OIDI), Tom Dawtrey and Kamila Dolejsi contributed perspectives on in-country pre-sessional English and English for Academic Purposes (EAP). Their session explored how these models can help build academic readiness while working effectively within local delivery environments in China.
The strong attendance from universities across China demonstrated a clear interest in academically robust yet adaptable approaches that maintain institutional standards while supporting local delivery partnerships.
We would like to thank University of Roehampton and all participating partners for hosting such an engaging and forward-looking event.
