Virtual Internships

Your virtual internship will place you with a UK company suited to your industry and career goals.
From wherever you are in the world, you will remotely join a UK company and complete your 150 hours over 10, 20 or 30 hours per week.

Your virtual internship can fit your schedule. You can work 10, 20 or 30 hours per week at a time that suits you.
You can also choose to start your internship at any time, which means you can finish your studies or part-time job, before joining the internship.

One-to-one career coaching session will help you define your career path and help you hone a highly targeted CV.
Following application you will undertake a personalised training programme, to help you prepare for your company interviews, hone your CV and prepare for the workplace.

Assisted guidance on how to build an attractive Linked-In profile and receive a professional testimonial to boost your profile.

Upon successful completion of your internship, you will receive a Certificate and a formal reference written by your internship manager. Your experience, certificate and professional reference will be useful tools to provide to future employers.

On your internship, you will learn:

Prepare for the workplace with our Preparation for the World of Work Course. Working one-to-one with a professional teacher, this 10-hour course will help develop your English language for the workplace and introduce you to professional environments.
You will:

• expand your workplace vocabulary
• improve your ability to engage in verbal communication and express yourself in interviews
• practice workplace language skills including writing for the professional environment
• improve your digital skillset as it relates to online and offline situations

You can take this 10-hour course over one or two weeks.

Our preparation course will help you to:

• Expand your workplace vocabulary
• Express yourself effectively in writing
• Improve your speaking skills in job interviews
• Learn online etiquette relevant to UK workplaces
• Increase your language comprehension and vocabulary through situational learning

Preparation for the World of Work Course – £450

To apply for a virtual internship you’ll need to complete an application form and attend an initial virtual interview. While you interview with prospective employers you will also begin your personalised training plan.

You can also choose to start your virtual internship at any time, which means you can finish your studies or part-time job, before joining the internship.

To undertake a virtual internship you’ll need to meet the appropriate language criteria, have access to computer equipment and the internet.

Minimum English language level CEFR B2 or IELTS 6.0 or above

• 19 years old or over
• Access to a computer or laptop with webcam and a quality headset with microphone for video calls
• A fast Internet connection (2mbps minimum)
